The cups represent our emotional body, on a physical sense and our energy auric field. As sentient beings we feel both consciously and unconsciously depending on what is happening to as at any given time.
It is important to acknowledge that out of all our auric senses, “feelings” can be the easiest to ignore and push to one side. In doing this we move into auto pilot and function in the world in as normal a fashion as possible, however our feelings cannot be denied!
When you ignore or store feelings, they will manifest in another part of our body and we have to take time to look at what we are suppressing and why.
I find the cups suit to be an opportunity of personal growth and healing tool. When we take time to delve into the card, it reveals hidden message which when we apply to our situation at that time could be an opportunity to change situations for a more positive outcome.
