We are coming into the new year and we are creating our new wish lists, our goals, our new year’s resolutions if you will. And we’re going to set our heart on what it is that we want to happen this year because, one of the things we will be saying is “well I’m not going through a year like I did last year.” Even in saying that, I can guarantee that you will go through what you did last year, simply because you’ve used the word ‘not.’
So, if you really want to change the year ahead, if you want to create something new, you really have to think about the words you’re using, the thoughts that you’re putting out there, and what it is in your heart of hearts you want to achieve. What is it that you want to bring into this new year that is going to support you and nourish you and make you feel better about yourself, about those around you, and about the world in which you’re living?
It’s really easy to sit and look at other people or look at adverts or television or Facebook, any of these medias and go “I’d love that, I’d love that” but do you really? Do you really, really love that, or is it just a whim? Is it a fantasy? As you start to think about and take time to link into what it is that you want to achieve this year, really go into your heartspace, because it’s through pure desire and clear intent the heart gets what the heart wants. And I want you to think about that phrase. I want you to look at what is it that would make you feel nurtured and nourished? Think about the desire you have and where that desire belongs. So, when setting out your new year’s resolutions, setting out your intention for this year, be really sure of what it is you’re asking for.
