Fruit Salad For Kids – An Introduction to the Chakra System

Dear Parent and Guardian

Join Sally and Sam as they discover new tools that help them when they are feeling sad, overwhelmed, frustrated or angry. Sam and Sally meet Melissa who teaches the class about energy and a simple game – Golden Hands, a tool to help them take back control of their emotions.

Giving children an opportunity to learn about the Chakra system at an early age can only benefit them later in life and help keep them centred, emotionally and physically well which is all good. On the plus side if the book also stimulates children to eat fruit and vegetable which is just great. This story came into being from several sessions I had where I would chat to the child and we would play guessing games about colour to help them relax during a treatment. The games varied from favourite colours, to rainbow breath and finally Fruit Salad for Kids.

Welcome to ‘Fruit Salad for Kids’. This book was born from my work with children as young as 2 years old who have been brought to see me in my capacity as a Reiki Master. Their parents would bring their child along when they were having an issue with their child on a behavioural or emotional level. The book contains the story of Sam and Sally, how to use The Golden Hands when a child feels they need some healing and a workbook focused on the chakra system and food to help nurture their bodies.

I love treating children of all ages as I see them as sponges ready to try something new, keen to learn about themselves, and to become fearless.

Crystals are naturally formed in the earth from natural minerals. Each crystal has its own unique energy frequency and energy value depending on where they are situated on the planet; this also dictates what kind of crystal it will become.

My first fascination with crystals was sparked by visits to my grandfather’s house. On his television set, he had 3 crystals – Amethyst specimen, Agate specimen and black onyx. Every time I was there, I was allowed to look at them and play with them.

Upon leaving home, he gifted the crystals to me and that started my interest in what crystals are, how they can support us and the development of my Crystal 101 and Crystal 201 healing courses.

A Souls Journey eBook

I had always considered myself as a spiritual person, having worked with clients over many years, however it was not until my Reiki one attunement that I realised what is was to be spiritual and life a spiritual life.

Through out my Reiki teachings I am constantly working on my Souls journey, the many paths I have taken and the lessons they have brought to me.
Reiki opened my awareness to the Chakra system and how that links into our Soul evolution and experiences. While on holiday in Samoa, recovering from the impact of the two major earthquakes in Christchurch I was guided to create a set of drawings of the chakras which I later expanded into the full Souls Journey course.
My hope is that by stepping into your Souls Journey you too can fully experience what your life’s journey has been about and process some deep healing within your chakra system and body.
