Although some of the aspects of gold are faded, there are still some bright gold parts of the mask visible, this to me represented growth and rebirth. As with all my paintings, they are meditation tools and this one in particular is a wonderful tool. When I start out with a painting it is a journey with no end however as the image becomes clear the meaning behind the painting becomes clear.
