Digger was our second dog who was my sons constant companion, both growing up hand in paw. Digger was that typical boxer who never grew up, always had that puppy behaviour, lively, exuberant, loving and protective. I was guided to paint this for my son Nathan, he has a huge longing for a dog, my hope in doing this work of art for him was to bring back the memories and feelings of having a dog in his life. I hope for those who are Boxer dog fans they too can connect to this image and see the true boxer personality shining through.
